So Im set to see The Eagles in July, it's a really huge deal for my gf and I because we both grew up with them, they're one of our very favorite bands and some of the best music we've ever listened to, we've only seen them once before and we sat in the nosebleeds... and let's face it, those guys are getting older and any tour could be the last.

Tickets went on sale March 28th, last week and I have the money now so I went to buy our tickets tonight, I was gunna buy floor tickets for like 150 a piece. The website is tellin me "We cannot secure seats at this price level." So I tried the next cheapest level and the same thing, tried "Best Available"... same thing. Im thinking wtf this whole venue sold out in a week for a show in July.. even the crappy seats? It's the Wells Fargo Center in Philly, that's a huge venue.

I did some reading around and I guess there's some outrage going around because there's very little security on the ticket ordering page for this venue. Sources Im reading are saying the tickets were just about sold out the afternoon they went on sale because resellers bought up something like 85% of the tickets, and are now selling them for 2-3x the price. So now if I want to go, I have to pay like $250-400 dollars a ticket for decent seats instead of the $150 the venue was charging.

I feel like crap because we were so excited and now I have to decide if I want to do that, and then if I even can afford it. And now I have to tell her this news and feel even worse.

Eff you ticket resellers. And eff you Wells Fargo for not putting limits on that bs.
