So I picked up a genIII supercharger from the junkyard the other day to do a port and polish on to either...
A) Put on my bros car as a birthday present (also needs lim job done so it would be done at said time)
B) Finish the port and polish, paint it (or polish it), and then sell for profit
Well I was so excited so I started pulling it apart without looking up any certain techniques of how to do so. Well lets just say that the snout came apart from the rotor (screw) assembly and supercharger oil started seeping out (as I didnt just yank it all apart). So as you can imagine I was rather dissapointed... partially because now I got fluid all over but more importantly it did not stink nearly as bad as you whiners (get it? supercharger joke) were making it sound.
All I ever hear about the fluid is oh its the worst smell ever and blah blah blah. You want a bad car smell? Try 150,000 mile (or for that matter) brand new differential fluid....that stuff is nasty, not puke your guts out nasty but still gross. So seriously whats all the complaining about? I didnt even flinch at the smell so I wanna know what you yahoos think is so bad about it?
End rant....
