This made me laugh.... I know guys that go through XB360 like once a year till they got rid of them... It is so bad that at one time if you needed to ship it back to Microsoft for repairs the local UPS store KNEW what you wanted and the address it had to go to.

my PS3 is rock solid. i have one of the older ones and it's a champ. literally zero issues besides that ive been noticing that ive been running out of room on the hard drive lately. that's an easy enough problem to solve, though.

Well I've owned both ps3 and Xbox and the online play for Xbox is better. And I can't remember a time ever that Xbox was down. I do however remember a time when ps3 online didn't work for 3 months

That happen to my fat version of ps3, so i found a video on youtube on how to get it back on by heating it up with a hairdryer for twenty min. then let it cool down. I turned it back on and it worked so i backed up everything and bought a new slim. never had a problem yet. but i do miss my fat version.

how do you back every thing up? if i can get it to work for even a little bit to do that i wouldnt care about buying a new one... actually yes i would because i wanted new injectors. im going to try and see if maybe it just over heated when i go home today but i doubt it. then ill see if i can fix it with that video. looks pretty complicated taking everything apart.

I'm on my 7th Xbox 360. Never got a legit RROD though. During the time when they were offering the extended warranty for RROD's I kept sending my xbox in with a fried graphics card/processor. My TV had a sketchy connection for the A/V cables and kept frying my graphics card. I'd call and say it was RROD'ing at first and then nothing after...

Ever since the new 360 though, I've had no issues. And PS3 online is a joke. I hopped on a PS3 after a year, played MW2 and went 42-7 my first game. Love the PSN nubbies <3

Daughter #1's PS3 is currently in the PS3 HOSPITAL undergoing surgery for YLOD syndrome. Check the link, for $99 they do a pretty awesome service and all the work is guaranteed.

My first PS3 was going on 4 years till a lightning bolt hit my apartment. Hell even after that it still worked but the wifi, Hdmi and Ethernet ports were fried and it could sync a controller to it. So I sold it for $100. Got a new PS3 for Christmas. But yeah not many 360's last more than a year. In the 4 years I had my PS3, one friend went through 2 360's in the matter of months. And another friend went through 4 used 360's in 2 weeks.

All that plus free PSN and Blu-Ray, I'll take a PS3 over a 360 any day.
It may be an old person car, but at least ill be the first one in line for the early bird special at Denny's!

Well I like online as well and it was down cause they got hacked. When I played on ps3 I would get lag in the game way more and loose connection to host way more. Xbox isn't free and that's cause they have better servers

Edit: and on an Xbox lasting a long time it depends on how ya treat it. I take care of mine and keep it dust free and have a little stand alone fan behind it to keep it cool and its always good to go
