so my Girl Friend rents this apartment, the land lord tells her the bathroom floor will be redone in a few weeks. 10 months later, he starts the job, 2 weeks ago he pops off the old crap peel and stick tiles, and leaves the floor all sticky, nice, for 2 weeks, then comes back and lays 1/4 inch ply wood over the old wood decking, ( it really needs to be removed and replaced) does a poor job with the wood, never took out the toilet or nothing. dick move. then starts with the almighty peel and stick tiles again, great stuff right there! and cant get it done, quits at a bit more than 1/2 way.

lets see how many of you see the biggest problem with his work...... lmao.

this is the 1 st row of tile off the shower.

    2 nd row lol

and that never stops, once its off its off.

    now for the good stuff.

and my fav, wtf is wrong with this picture???????

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^NOW WHAT?????^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

if this asshole had read a book, this could all have been avoided!

all i can think of is the voice of hit girl from the movie kick ass. when they killed the guy in the car crusher, and she just says "what a douche bag" and they walk away.

remember kids there are many ways to skin a cat, but only one way is right. lol

    .. well that's special.
Almost as awesome as my old land lord. No heat or air conditioning two thirds of the time. After I give her my one month notice she replaces the entire HVAC system and tries to keep my deposit saying we damaged it. LOL NOPE its was 21 years old and the courts of Maryland were on my side that day.

This is a classic case of landlordism and it drives me bonkers. Our last place was a nightmare and the tenancies branch exists to protect the dick landlords, not the tenants.

    Drives me bucking fonkers.

sad part is that wont happen, it will be slapped together like everything else this jerk does. there is no way he will take up the one side, and finish from the side he started from, that last pic will be filled in with uneven cut tiles, and thats the end of it, outta sight outta mind for this guy.

a simple paper template would have been golden for this guy. but no, he just wings it, poorly too.

his random thought here, do i need to find the center of the room or even set a straight line in one direction never mind 2???? ah ill just slap them down f it!. thats how this self admitted, lazy, dumb Polack gets things done. his words not mine, the day i met him he told me this, then proceeds to tell me a jew joke, 1/2 way through he goes your not jewish are you? smart man here folks....all with in the first 15 minutes lol oh and did nothing but trash the USA, and our government. i liked him right away as you can tell. hes off the boat Polish.

sad part is i could have done what he did with the wood in less than a hr, thats with removing the bowl and unhooking the sink plumbing lines, and using a hole saw to drop the wood over the pipes and hide the mess under the sink. and i would have went vinyl flooring, one shot with one large piece. and some corner round trim for the perimeter of the room. this guy clearly dont have a clue how things should be, nor does he care.

her lease is up soon and she will be getting the fvck out soon.

Best part of the whole story, bro

Sad that so many people are like that. My mother is about to buy her a house, finally. She just got through going a fight with the landlord at her current place, over a busted water line. Mind you the line was about 7ft of galvanized pipe, under the house, buried under ground, and sat there for however long . It rusted thru (no surprise) and busted thru. Landlord blamed my mom, tried to bill her, the plumber laughed and said that he was surprised it didn't blow a long time ago and that it was in no way my mother's fault. There is still a 10'+ section with galvanized pipe that is buried out to the main city line, he said that will have to be replaced in the future, mom just told him to fix what was broke, landlords problem later.

She is closing on her house now, soon to get out of her sheethole too So proud

I've seen worse, I worked for a guy that owns about 600 rental properties and he would hire some real winners to do repairs on his rentals. I would go into his rentals and clean them after one tenant moved out before the next moved in, kitchens and bathrooms with 3 different types of flooring, mismatched patched together carpet, uneven floors, walls half sheet rock half wood paneling that were different thicknesses and colors, light switches behind doors installed upside down or just hanging loosely, same for outlets, piss poorly patched up ceilings, cupboard doors that hit the ceiling. Some of these places I could not understand how someone actually lived there and actually paid upwards of $600 a month in rent, a nice 2 bedroom apartment around here can be had for about $400 a month, needless to say I didn't work for this guy very long as I wanted nothing to do with his half assed fixes for things.

Just moved out of a place where the landlord had a garage downstairs where he stored like 15 80's Cadillacs. He liked to run them all on a daily basis and fill up my apartment with exhaust fumes. Doesn't get much worse than that..

he actually finished it this weekend, he just filled in the small area where he started to lay tile from 2 directions. nice sloppy cuts too. i need new pics of the finished product. regardless how bad this is, its still better then what was there.

but this will look like the old one used to in about 6 months. peel and stick tile is for morons/cheap fools. its trash dont waste your money on that stuff ever. for a small amount of money more you can lay vinyl or go all the way and use real tiles.

oh and one so far of the screws he used to hold the ply wood down is now pushing through the tile, and the door needs to have the bottom cut still. almost done lol

i love how this guy took a 4 hour job and made it last a month, one lazy mofo.

Bill somehow in his retarded mind, i think hes proud of the job.

i need more pics of his work, for a guy like me whos been in construction my whole life, you know whats wrong and right.

all of the ceiling have sheet rock over the old plaster, to avoid Spackle and tape he put wood over the seams, no stagger of the sheet rock seams at all. when he got to the attic hole, that is framed out, he just stopped and left the 3 inch wide gaps in the 2 sides by the corner, just to much work for 2 little cuts.

now me, i woulda removed the frame work and then cut a nice hole in the new sheet rock, and put the wood frame work back. whats that take time wise for a better looking job? nothing at all.

i get worked up over this crap to easy, it just kills me to see people do stuff so 1/2 assed.
