5 days after the engine fell out of my Oldsmobile I was leaving work and midway through a left turn a 1987 Mack Dump Truck swings wide into me. causing the damage in the picture below. He didn't stop.. I laid on the horn no response so have to chase this guy 3 miles to get his plate number because it was covered in mud/hard to see. The rant is not about the driver accidents happen but he should have known to not be in the left lane on dual lane left turn (I was in right). I JUST got a call from allstate telling me they are going to arbitration court next month the try and recover money and they may not be able to recover my $500 deductible. The commercial insurance this construction company has is denying the claim saying no damage done to dump truck and the driver said he was in right lane when turning left.. I took the car to the body shop got it fixed then a few days later I noticed the the new QP was stamped wrong and it stuck out further than the taillight back to the body shop it went.. Now as of last weekend the trunk or back window has started to leak so I had to rip out the bottom of my backseat vacuum the water out and remove all carpeting from the trunk. The guys at the body shop are cool about it want me to bring it back to them so they can get the back window reseated/sealed.. at least I hope its leaking from there.

I don't think its a shade difference, just lighting.

BTW that does suck. Hopefully everything works out for ya, "by the book" tends to screw the little guy/middle man, despite the fact that if most people would just use common sense half the wrong doings wouldn't happen.

No just the lighting. Right now the trunk is a different shade of silver. I had to replace the lid due to me being an idiot, I left the lid open and lifted the car juusstt enough to crush the trunk lid in to the rafters/ceiling BUT.. that's getting out of pocket resprayed just for blending aesthetics. I blame lack of sleep and working on car a 1am =\
