Okay so today I went to get an inspection sticker on my 2002 pontiac grand prix. I have the aftermarket halo projectors and as we all know they're perfectly legal. On top of that I had a crack in my windshield so this morning my windshield was replaced. And I have all of the catalytic converter codes removed/tuned out from the computer. So after getting all of that miscellaneous stuff done so that I knew I would pass inspection, I went to get my inspection and the computer passed emissions and everything like that. Then they look at my headlights and the reaction I got was I don't like em they are ugly. The guy said the only reason he passed me was because my family has been going there for so long. Just pisses me off that they almost didn't pass me, when they are perfectly legal!!

I would go to the manufacturers site and print out the page where it says those projectors are DOT approved. Just keep it in the glove box for a sort of proof in case you get hassled about them.

A lot of all kinds running around. LOTS of Chrysler products smoking up the air. My GP went thru inspection with zero problems. Only 60K miles on it, upgraded brakes, brand new ContiContact DWs.

Same in MI. Probably half the cars in my area would fail an inspection if we had them here.
