Hindsight is always 20/20.....LOL. More importantly is that I am very happy with the car.

I would say no since Pontiac doesn't exist anymore.

You are correct, however they had a bunch of lots, other brands new and used . I think the big used/budget lot was still called Brown Pontiac,

You were in a hard position, but if you are happy with the car then just be happy and live and learn for the next time. I have bought several distance vehicles and only once walked away and that was way worse than your situation was. The dealer should have been more upfront but they are a car dealership so to expect honesty is probably a bit much usually. There are problem free dealers but they are probably more rare than a problem free GP

If you are inclined and wanted to you could file a complaint with the BBB in the area you bought the car, it would help if you had some of the email docs prior to your going there to substantiate your points. Normally I say the BBB is worthless and they pretty much are but it might give you some personal satisfaction.

Car does look nice though. Good luck!

Thanks! Yes Brown is still a dealer. But now they are Honda, Mazda, Mistubishi. I almost bought my first GP from them....but they couldn't get the right configuration.

I did save all the email correspondence from the dealer and submitted a BBB complaint a few days ago. I'm not really expecting anything to come of it....just would like to warn any future buyers to beware of the sales tactics.
