    GM audio dept can kiss my ass.who the hell designs a car where u have to take the all seats and back dash out to swap speakers?The b'l'ose setup in gp's sucks !no question about it.well after 3 hrs i finally got all my memphis front door and rear deck speakers in.before i end i wanna give one more big **** you to GM's audio ppl and/or any other depts that had anything to do with the audio system in gp's! heres to u GM

    be glad it wasn't a honda, some of them the front seats have to come out to get the rear panel out (no room to move the side pieces with them there)

    lol i have never owned or will never own a honda...or any import for that matter!i really think ill own some sort of gp for the rest of my life

    It's so you have to take it back to the dealer to have them replaced with speakers that will cost you way more than what you want and they can kill you on labor cost.

    I dont know why u ppl dont like the bose setup. I have the Bose setup in my 01 And it sounds VERY GOOD. Its stock, I dont have to put money into it, it gets loud, the sound is clean (at least the front speakers), the subs kick in and add some nice bass. Did I mention that I dont have to put money into it?

    Maby the one I have purchased has upgraded speakers, because it gets very loud and does not distort at all.

    you just have never heard proper sound more than likely (it should sound the same in your car as it does on a good set of headphones aka not earbuds, or a live concert)

    agreed...i have almost always aftermarket audio in my ride...to each his own though.some ppl are into it , some arent.
