ok here is the deal, i bought a set of hood louvers from tengis on dec 14th and he was suppost to ship them on dec 15th. some time went by and i was wondering where my louvers are so i text him and here is our conversation:

    dec 21

kawasaki22106: i was wondering if they gave you a date on when i would get them hood louvers.

tengis: ill text it to ya tomorrow when i get to the shop.

kawasaki22106: ok i was just checking i was thinking they should of been here today.

    dec 22nd

kawasaki22106: you have a chance to look at the arrival date.

tengis: i havnt checked yet. its christmas, stuff usually goes slow since they are so busy.

kawasaki22106: i understand it being christmas and all but i didnt think it would take a week. how did you ship them? if you could get me a tracking number so i
    know that would be great.

tengis: i shipped them usps. postal man picked them up from our shop. ill text you when i find out.

    dec 28th

kawasaki22106: ok dude idk whats going on here but my louvers still aint here. i am going to need a tracking number from you verifying you shipped them etc or i am left with no other choice but to dispute this with paypal.

tengis: stop crying. you haggled me down and are now mad i didnt ship them next day air. its the christmas season **** goes slow. ill send you a delivery conformation number in a bit.

kawasaki22106: stop crying? see what you dont understand is you were suppost to ship them on the 15th so tomorrow (dec 29th)makes 2 weeks from the ship date! christmas is no excuse for this taking 2 weeks! i have shipped alot of parts and never did nothing take this long! but thats fine ill stop crying, i want a confirmation number within an hour or i will be disputing this with paypal. enough is enough.

tengis: im not giving you a confirmation number within an hour i wont be home.

kawasaki22106: item will be disputed. i ask for confirmation days ago. im not deling with this any longer.

    tengis: lol..... wow

tengis: (confirmation number) was an hour and a half later after i disputed it.

kawasaki22106: so you just shipped them yesterday!

tengis: i was out of town mail man didnt pick them up. i ship tons of fuel pumps that all went out just fine.

kawasaki22106: ill be sure to have this posted on the forums fyi. very poor business practice especially after me asking about it for days and you blowing it off! last time i buy from you.

tengis: stop whining. i dont care if you buy anything from me or not. you haggling and being cheap has nothing to do with "business practices"

kawasaki22106: if it was "to cheap" then why didnt you deny it instead of dicking me over! that is poor business practice dumb ass!

tengis: its a couple of louvers, its not life or death.

bottom line is he lied about shipping them in the first place, said when he went to the shop the next day he would get me a tracking number and never did but then he said he was out of town and didnt know... another lie... and then he complains about the price we agreed on... all i gotta say is watch this guy.

    buyer beware!

either way he should not have lied to you. I bought a set of heads from glanzergtx, and i paid for them around 2:00pm and he messaged me at 5:30 with a tracking number, thats how it should be done, shipped the same day you send money....anyway, no customer should ever be lied to about anything.

not the point man....If you like the look, then roll with it. If i pay for something, i expect the other guy to hold his end of the deal. doesn't matter what it is.

Honestly it sounds like Tengis had the louvers arranged for pickup and the mail service messed up. Sht happens that isn't always in anyone's control, deal with it

I am don't have a problem but Tengis but come on. He asked for the confirmation number how many times? It takes literally 1 minute to check and see if the thing shipped or not.

I personally don't think saying "The mailman didn't pick them up" is a good excuse because again it takes 1 minute to check and see if the package is still at your shop or house.

Again I am not bashing him personally at all but people saying "Hey it's the holidays stuff happens" is such a cop out.

He wanted $40+ shipping. We agreed on $45shipped. Don't even understand how I made him come down so much on his price.

I got my own ideas for them, I don't use stick on scoops etc so no they will not be stuck on but functional and also molded in fyi

    This.

He said he would get the tracking number several times and didn't. And even still, if you create a shipment through USPS, the tracking number will show the date it was created. Then it will show the date it was picked up. So if the postman really didn't pick them up for 2 weeks (which is highly unlikely) then the tracking number would show that.

Cool story bro. **** happens. I drove to KY and back over the holidays so most of that time I was 1000 miles from your louvers sitting on our shop floor.

And I originally said 45 + shipping which through FedEx would have been like $15.

Still doesn't seem like a very nice way to treat a customer if you really did send those texts.
