So last friday I took the front header and the cross over off once again to re-seal them with copper RTV. I've seen a few comments here suggesting to seal them with it, but in my experience the copper RTV turns into dust within a couple of months. Anyway I don't have a better solution for it right now until i get the adequate clamps for it so i was going to just reseal them with it for now.

i have to remove one of the fans in order to have enough clearence and i suppose i hit the radiator while doing so and it started leaking. It also appeared to be the factory radiator still so i guess changing it wasn't such a bad idea, i suppose it was all rusty and dirty inside since the coolant would turn into mud rather quickly every time i changed it.

so i go get a new radiator and the next day I put the header back in place, put the radiator in. flush the system add coolant and turn the engine on and check for leaks.

Then i found out the new rad is leaking.... to my dismay the brackets where the fans are screwed to the radiator, were like 1 milimeter or less shorter than the factory ones. The factory fan screws just barely touch the radiator tank when tightened, but in this case its enough to crack the radiator tank....

I haven't been so pissed in a long time now i have to take it off and take it back to the seller and get shorter screws for it. I hope the seller doesn't think it's my fault.
