I can't figure out if I am eligible for 2 free cleanings a year why I am paying for the second. It comes out of my alotted calander year amount? How is it free then?? Effin Delta Dental....Rant.....

Take a look at what they did. I just enrolled for the next year and looked over my companies delta plan. they do two cleanings. But certain xrays like panoramic aren't covered.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I got my print out in front of me. Literally looked at it yesterday because I wanted to see if half the stuff my financee wanted me to get done would be covered. She's a hygenist. So all her stuff is free. But mine is like 50% so the insurance would pay all of it if they cover 80%...see what I'm saying?

Husband/financee is half off all work. Which would likely all be billed to Delta

It seems that i am alotted $1500 a calander year that the insurance will pay. i guess they take the 2 cleanings out of that money. since I had met the $1500, i have to pay for the 2nd cleaning. Still can't understand why it would be considered free if they are charging it to the $1500. Something doesn't add up to me. It looks like I will be calling a 3rd time.

really.... I don't have dental insurance and where are you going to get a cleaning? Cleaning/exam/xrays cost me ~$190....

Sometimes what happens is the insurance company will just cut you a check after the visit to reimburse you. Might see if that's the deal.
