I like girls that know about cars. When I was a mechanic my wife would come in and help me, I was on flatrate so the more I got done the more money for us. When I was young a customer once said "I didn't know they hired kids." You just have to shake off the idiots. The worst you would get from me would be I might flirt with you. I think girls that can do "guy" stuff and still be girls are hot. Hey my wife has pink grips on her Beretta 9mil.

    Just gotta say that women+car knowledge=awesome. Women+car knowledge+guns/weapons=more awesome.
Girls can be girls, I'm fine with that, but like Sudden said, girls that like or can do "guy" stuff are hoot.

Yes like most of the other guys said, If you know your stuff we dont mind and it is hot lol. But one time i went to the advance auto parts and asked the lady to look up the oil filter number for a 1991 corvette, and she replied "Who makes corvettes?" I just thought Really? How did you get a job here?

a job at auto zone or pep boys is really nothing more than find a part on a pc, then go look for a # on a box in a certain section. most of the employees there dont know much about cars, some do, most don't, just kids making money.

when i needed my d/s axle i called auto zone, a girl answered the phone, (shes helped me at the counter before) she cant find the part # for the GS just a LS and i know that's wrong. not her fault, shes just looking at a screen with part numbers and listings. (she may not know where the parts go but she can usually find them lol)

call napa and of course the guys finds the right # in a minute.

on another note i dont care who's looking up my parts, i always try to bring in the old part and match it up on the spot, just to make sure its right, and im watching the screen for the parts making sure they got the right info entered and all that crap. i have been sold the wrong part a few times and i hate going back to return and buy the right part again. most of the time the right part costs more too.

what really sucks is when you are working on your one and only car, take it apart, then the parts don't fit, so now you have to put your car back together to drive back to the store, now that sucks a dick.

Not to change subjects, but has anyone tried getting a passenger side axle for their GTP or Regal GS lately from a parts store. Probably about 5 years ago, I went to NAPA, Pepboys, Advance Auto Parts, Autozone, and also checked with RockAuto. I didn't have any mods so stock replacement would of been fine. All of them tried to give me an axle with too small of a shaft diameter. I thought it was for the NA motor so I had them look up a Regal LS. Different part #, so I ended up just getting the boot repair kit and calling it a day. Scottydoggs talking about the LS reminded me of it.

I'd be sexist against hot girls in the automotive industry. Having ovaries doesn't affect your ability to handle a topic any more than the color of your skin. That being said... hot girls get a pass in life on a lot of things and because they're not challenged to as great an extent they build less character and skills in general. I've met plenty of women who are proficient mechanics or know how to answer my questions at a j/y. A grand total of 0 of those I would have been interested in sleeping with.
