I'm so mad about my car. My GT got hit at my job and nobody seems to know how it happend. The shop manager told me it could have happend anywhere. Umm, lets see...It was fine when I parked it on Monday morning and when I leave Monday evening there is a big mark on the rear bumper. I told the owner on Tuesday morning and he said he will come down and look at it, but so far I haven't heard anything else. I'm not the only one who has had their car damaged there. My service manager thought his truck was totaled after one of the delivery trucks rolled into it. I'm refusing to pay for this on my insurance and I shouldn't have to. I'm posting some pics of it.

I won't even count the number of times my car has been painted. The east coast crew knows all about this, too. House of Kolor custom all the way, too. My advice: invest in as many front and rear bumper covers from Ed while you can. Keep them in stock. You will need them.

Well the owner finally got back to me about this. He told me to go get 2 estimates and if it wasn't too much they would pay for it out of pocket but if it was going to be a lot then he would have to make some phone calls and see how their insurance wanted to handle it. He didn't think there was much they could do since no one witnessed it so their insurance might not pay for it. I told him I know it was done there in the parking lot and that I wasn't gonna make a claim on my insurance for something that was done on their property. So far I have gotten 2 estimates. 1. $712.40 and 2. $540.47. I haven't turned them in yet cuz I really do not want them to go with the lowest. I do not know anything about them or the quality of work they do.

I did find one of our trucks that had reddish color paint or something on it that matched the little bit of reddish color I had on my car. I pointed it out to the shop manager and he told me the color didn't match. He must be color blind cuz they sure looked the same to me.

I'll let ya'll know the outcome!

yea, I've been there, twice....occurance#1...my 91 blazer was parked in front of the overhead door at work, truck inside, truck driver opens door, drives straight into my blazer...how he didn't see it i'll never know, luckily the company paid for and arranged all repairs. one week later the company hands out waiver to be signed stating that any vehicle damaged on company property is not companies responsibilitie....occurance#2...a few years later, different employer, my same blazer parked outside, the company owner has someone come in to paint one of the trucks, ******* does it upwind and all cars including mine get covered with a nice oversparay of red paint, this company makes promises to repair but never follows through...end up using rubbing compound to get it off myself...
so good luck, it can go either way.

Get a picture of the truck you think did it. We wanna see.
get abunch of estimates and only turn in the 2 you want. Then, either way, you will approve of the shop.
For real though......Let the air out of all of their tires!

    Good Luck!

Sorry to see the damage. People are just plan careless. Had a woman back out in front of me one time and caved in my front bumper. Cops got there and found out shee had no insurance. They said there was nothing they could do because being in a store parking lot it was private property. But the thing that kills me is that she got in her car and left, on a public street.

Finally the bumper is fixed! I picked it up this past Friday from the body shop. It looks good as new. Hopefully it won't happen again. I no longer park in that spot....LoL

I'm not sure what has happend with people's driving nowadays. Its unbelievable!! I'm just glad I don't have to drive to Northern Virginia anymore. I hate I-66, I-495 and all them crazy interstates in that area. Rt. 29 is bad enough! If there is a back road to get me where I need to go I will find it and take it even it means taking a little longer to where I need to go.
