So for the past week or so i have been getting these phone calls from my cell phone's insurance company and i never answer them because im usually at work and am busy and then forget to call them back. Anyways today i was home when they called so i answered but the caller was asking for a Shania Johnson...I told the caller that this number was not Shanias and the caller proceeded to say that the owner of the cell phone number needs to pay the 600 dollar retail value that a droid 2 is worth... Apparently someone in Florida used my cell phone number to make a claim for a new phone and this was the insurance company calling asking why the old phone hasnt been returned back to them...what a pile of crap! Im friken pissed because how can someone from Florida go and make a claim on my number when they are in friken Florida and im in Wisconsin you would think these friken people would be smart enough to catch that crap...So no i have to hop through all these damn hoops just to fix this crap but until then they want their money and i aint paying crap...

Now get this...in January my original droid 2 took a crap on me so i did call for a replacement..got my replacement then returnnd the old one...Im just lost so lost in all of this mess.

    Good chance its a scam.

Just recently my mom started getting calls from a company claiming to be collections for a payday loan place. She never got a payday loan. They kept calling and harassing her and threatening her.

With the help of some friends I found the scammers contact numbers and they got phone bombed. My friend set up a program to send 1000 calls to the phone lines at the same time.

Haven't heard back from them since.
