First of all, if I hear one more piece of rock salt smash against my wind shield or hood Im going to kill someone at the DoT.

Last night I got stuck behind a plow with a salt spreader on it on the interstate, got smashed with a really big piece of salt, and a lot of small pieces. Soon as I pulled into the garage at home I had a good time counting the chips now in my windshield.

-Second, Im tired of looking at my black car being all dirty all the time, between salt and sand and dirt, it's depressing. I absolutely cannot wait until it's warm enough to get out there and give the car a good hand washing, clay it and wax it up, dress the tires, get it looking sharp. Ahhh deep deep mirror black . Just that has me excited. Clean out the inside, steam clean all of the upholstery and carpeting, Meguiars on all the vinyl and plastic.. I love the smell of the quik interior detailer. Then after all that is done Im gunna put the windows down and go cruise around town and feel good with warm fresh air and a clean car . I. Cannot. Wait.

I had to let this steam out, I usually get to a boiling point as far as winter goes around the start of February as my spring fever begins to set in...

That's why when the weather gets bad, the first thing i do is get beer and fill up on gas. That way i can drink and relax on the hectic drive home, the cops aren't pulling people over for swerving or anything really. If i do go in the ditch, which i never have, i have plenty of gas to sit in there for a while while i get drunk so i don't feel the affects of the cold.

Anyone else think of Mrs. Doubtfire when they read this? It's a black car in the winter. What do you expect? Buy another car or ride the city transport system. No car cleaning required. People that buy black cars and expect them to stay beautiful have never heard the old body shop saying of "black is beautiful until it pulls out of the drive." I own a black car and it is parked in the garage awaiting spring.

Black is going to be dirty, unless it's cleaned daily, or not driven.

Also, we had a HUGE ass snow storm...like 1 inch on the ground last night...it all melted today though...
I thought we were never gonna be able to get our cars out...

I lol at you people that live in areas that get lots of snow...and complain about it...XD

But really, snow does suck, and salt sucks more.

But if you just wait really hard, then it'll pass by eventually, and you'll have a nice day where you can detail the piss out of it.

ROFL, yeah A WHOLE INCH. I was worried...

We did get a foot about a month ago, and about 10inches in december.

Got a nice 3foot snowfall last year, with about 6inches of solid ice under it all.

I know how it goes. Surprised how well the GP did in the snow, with non-snow tires on it.
