this is kinda a rant and kinda a lil story i guess.
Last night me and my friend are driven home after work around 11:30pm and my car hasnt had tail lights for bout 2 wks now,it has break lights but the reg tails that stay on..nope (still dunno why) well anyway a local cop stops me and tells me this that thier out i tell him ik and that im gettin em looked at monday...well in the middle of all this he sees a sandwhich baggy i had in the lil ash tray in my car that had some crushed up cheese-its in it from my lunch thatr night(i was hungry after work) so him in his great wisdom pulles my friend outta the car and procedes to search her and then picks up the bag and says "oh thats not weed"...dude seriously thought i had a bag of weed sitting in my ashtray and does a full freakin pat down on my friend while threatening me just cuz he thought a bag full of ORANGE crushed cheese-its was weed..now perhaps im wrong(ik im not) but weed is green not orange soooo wtf was this guy thinkin?..i swear he was stupid..cuz right near the baggy was a hunting knife i keep in my in my car and he didnt even say a word bout that,Ended up giving me a warning for the lights and sayin basically "my bad" for searching my female friend(thought u had to wait for a female officer to be present to do that??) just for a freakin bag of cheez-its...then again i thought it was funny that he searched her an not me seeing that she is by no means the type to appear to have weed an i am..thats my rant for last night

Cops are soooo full of wisdom, I used to run an Autozone about 50 miles from where I live and on the way home one night there was a checkpoint... So I start getting out my license and whatnot, homie the clown comes up to my car and says.. "Why weren't you slowing down, don't you see all of the flashing lights?" I said I was slowing down, "NO! You weren't!" So I was like wtf, then how the hell am I stopped??? anyhow, they proceed to question me about why I was where I was and I told them, I even had my nametag on still stating who I was and my job title, etc... So, they wanna search my car, I was like whatever, you aren't gonna find anything... they go through the front, then ask me to pop the trunk, they take out my golf clubs( a $500 set) seeing as they were the only thing in there... THEN... they dump them out on the side of the road... I was like MUTHA F***ER!!! and left them there for me to pick up... needless to say they will NEVER search my car again without a warrant...

I've had enough bull**** with cops, I got pulled over for doing 3 over and the cop was acting like I was doing 50 over.

But that's not important, the question I should ask is is your friend hot?

At checkpoints I don't let them search my car, they're not allowed unless you let them, I actually have a paper in my car that lists everything out and I just hand it to the cop. Honestly, the **** cops are doing now is complete horse sh*t.

the police can only search your car if they find something on YOU during a pat down or smell or see something in plain sight, ( so keep nothing in your pockets while driving) if you refuse a search they will hold you up till a dog comes out to sniff out a search, so if you are clean mind as well let them have at it, if you are dirty the dogs gonna find it.

in all my years I've never had my car searched at all, I've been pulled over about 3 times while i had one burning and got away with it every time, rule of thumb, always carry air freshener, and a air tight container to keep yer stuff in.

m&m's candy comes in these little round flip top containers, some are 3 inches and they got a large one thats about 5 inches long, keeps the stink down real good, been using them for years now, and if asshole johnny law see's it, its a candy container, in plain view.

on a side note, if you pull the bottom of your console up by where the rug meets it, you can slide stuff in there. just don't make it look like you've been in there, aka damage, scuffs or bends in the console, they look for stuff like that.

Ive only been pulled over twice, and had some other encounter about my car but i wasnt driving it then. Nothing bad yet, i guess im just lucky. The one encounter was kinda gay but whatever.

Me and a friend were at some park eating lunch. He brung a beer, and i had a pepsi. I guess someone complained and as we were walking out of the park to my car 2 policemen come up to us saying "wheres all the beer?" My friend shows them the bottle then they turn to me, and i say all i had was a pepsi and they didnt believe me. The one guy asks if this car is mine and i say yes. He then says you know i have a breathalizer in the car and if you take it and fail you are going to be in trouble. I was like ok test me i didnt have anything you'll just be wasting time. So he was like ok fine i guess not. Then he asks to pop my trunk and quickly looks through my car for more booze even though i told him i dont have any in the car. Then he starts taking down my license plate #, my name and address. They gave my friend a warning about drinking in public. Its one beer but still, i told him he shouldnt of brang it lol. It was my first rundown with the cops so the whole time i was like holy F***!!!

yea they can't search your car without probably cause. and if they did i would sue.
i'm real big on MY stuff and MY privacy. and since i dont drive and do anything illegal, they REALLY have no right to make it past my rolled down window.
i've only been pulled over twice but each time they were really cool. one time i had on a work uniform the other my friend was with me. the second time the cop was like "do you even have a license?" i was like yeaaa here you go
they let me off each time though i deserved a fat lil ticket.
