Then why didn't they do that in this case?
That'd be better than letting it burn to the ground.

Then why didn't they do that in this case?
That'd be better than letting it burn to the ground.
Because if that how it happened NOONE would pay the following year
Then no one pays for health insurance by the same logic.
Its not the same logic at all Its completely different and being i know many in the health care industry they would agree
I for one cant afford health care so when im sick I do what i can to get better BUT I pay my homeowners ins Because fire flood earthquake an what not I dont want to be left with nothing
The fire department and this area have this agreement every one there knows its the deal This asshat didnt pay His house burned down
If they put it out More then likely noone would pay the next year and the firedepartment would lose funding more then likely wouldnt even respond to calls at all
Hospitals are mandated by law to Treat serious injuries or illness that can cause death they get the pateint stable and send them to a county hospital and they get the bill for this
You completely bypassed the car insurance, power, water, and so on points i made If you dont pay your bill you dont get the service
whre they live doesnt service the fire department with taxes and so on they are outta luck There are many places in the country rural areas That have no fire department and noone to respond to fires You know this moving to these areas and you deal with it
If you dont have health insurance and you need something and its not covered under the stabilizing part... you have the option to pay for it.
With fire fighting, you apparently dont have this option.
That is all i'm saying.
That and people shouldn't be so poor that they can't afford health insurance.
Its total BS. Its 2010 and people don't have fire services? Crazy
Its completely different
This area isnt taxed by the city so they have no city services ITS simple guys
If you want fire service pay the 75 bucks a year and cut back on eating out or payperview
actually they will....
they just have to STABILIZE you.... not actually fix anything.
This is the problem we have turned into an entitlement society And yes they have fire services BUT they dont pay the city taxes for it BUT the citys fire department has a deal where they pay 75 a year and get the fire service ITS simple
the problem is the bottom line is the dollar. no one gives a ****.
Look at countries that are in better financial situations than you guys... I believe some of them actually have public health care...
The simple solution to this is don't have it be optional. I pay property taxes on my house to the town and part of that goes toward supporting the fire department. By setting up this policy of an optional $75 fee, it was just a matter of time before somebody didn't pay the fee and had a fire. Once it happened there was no way they could win in the end against public opinion.
We are in a horrid finacial ituation We are so in debt that we can not pay it back And as far as public healthcare most of the systems suck
Many still come to the us if they have the means and get treatment here
Im not for public healthcare at all cause with that you give the gov more control and more money
As it is My mom pays like 30-40k a year in taxes the ****s unreal
Its still what it is if you dont pay auto ins you dont get auto ins its that simple Its a coice of those residents
auto insurance is required by law.
its not a choice.
unless you're ****ing stupid.
insurance costs less than getting caught without it.
even with a DUI or two.
Ok lets change that a bit lets say you have only the minimum ins and you total your car You cant sent them an extra 60 bucks and get your car fixed as if you had full coverage
THIS IS THE WAY IT IS WHERE THIS HAPPENED THE RESIDENTS KNEW THE DEAL THEY AGREED TO LIVE THERE THEY LEARNED THEIR LESSON
I dont see the big deal lesson learned
car insurance isn't the same as the police/fire fighters showing up with the jaws of life to get you out of your wrecked car.
These guys at the very least should have saved the pets, pegged the guy for gas costs, and let the house burn down. Those of you who felt sorry the guy are pathetic. The same goes for red cross and other organizations that help other countries. Seriously guys, let's fix our own problems before trying to take on everyone else's.
Torque's car insurance analogy makes perfect sense. Why should the lady who totalled my car, who hasn't been paying for insurance get off easy when I, who have been paying high insurance because of the stereotype against teenage boy drivers, have been paying outrageous rates just to keep a decent car?
As I said, I don't feel bad for that guy one bit, although it would have at least been courteous to save the pets.
Dont take my stance on it as not having sympathy I feel bad for the family BUT it is what it is
As far as your ins and your car wreck that blows thats what courts for BUT in the end not worth it thas why you had full coverage any ways
Not saying shes right for not having ins
