so i was on the highway, and the guy in front of me was towing a junker. of course, something had to jump off, and hit RIGHT under the engine. i didnt kno wut it hit till i got home. seen oil under my car, and the oil filter was crunched had a puncture, and was leakin about 3/4 of the way up. thank god it didnt hit the oil pan tho, that would have sucked. so i got to do an oil change about 500 miles early today
on that note, anyone kno how to reset the oil light on the 97 3800s? kno i could find it online, but thought i would ask

i pretry sure that you put the key to ON and pump the gas pedal 3 times all the way down, within 5 sec.

yup, unless you have the Digital DIC then you can go to oil life and hold the reset button.

In PA, you're responsible for anything that falls off your car. Could have had the guy buy your filer and oil, and toss in an extra $30 for "labor"
