So I'm laying in bed, watching tokyo drift, now don't get me wrong the driving in this movie, is badass. But there is SO ****ing much to Rant about.

I feel like this movie was the beginning of the ricer movement in the mainstream anyway.

    The damn spoilers are ridiculous

    Enough stickers already

The White guy, goes for a white girl in Tokyo(never going to happen)

And to top it off, THEY PUT A NISSAN I6 INTO A MUSTANG...

    /End rant.

There was a magazine that did a artical about the movie be for in cam out, the mustang may of had a V6 in it to keep it a ricer movie but the cars the did the drifting with was a big block ford V8. I think it was popular hotrodding.

Really? I'll have to look for that, glad to hear it though haha

And yeah I definitely worded that wrong, I meant that the movie brought ricers to the mainstream, It definitely wasn't as big before this movie/all fast and furious's.

Read the magazines that talk about those cars with LS1's & they brag about discovering the LS1 while still insulting domestics.

big blocks were never used in the movies all the muscle cars used in all movies used a boring small black chevy with a redneck ford 9 inch ass end. not that im bashing tho this is a great combo but common. imo tokyo drift was the best outta all 4. the first movie was gay... they even used a honda exhaust sound over the eclipse the first time u see it in the stadium which is stupid cuz a dsm sounds better than a honda. k im gonna stop because im gonna go too far with this ****... best car movies on my list... in other words movies where the car or cars play an important role...

The ricer movement happened after the 1st fast and furious movie. It came out when I was 15 and I wanted a black Charger in the worst way. Theres an Eclipse that lives up the street from me and his car is just like the one on the 1st F&F movie, it makes me laugh.
