My boss just said with the restrictions on our health plan from Obama care my co-pay and deductable will double. I'm also going to get hit with the 40% tax on my heath care plan.

Out of every dollar over 80 000 you make in one year, 45.7 cents will go to the tax man, and the other 44.3 % go into your pocket.

Every dollar below 8000 is tax free.

There is a scale, it sucks to be anywhere in it.

This is in ontario though, different provinces will have different levels of income tax since theres federal and provincial income tax.

    Thanks for playing.

the only reason i dont like 'universal healthcare' is because i get to pay for everyone who couldnt afford it anymore. its called survival of the fittest, deal with it you poor sum*****. i also dont want to have longer wait times for when i want to actually go to the hospital and get fixed.

Thats if they see you fit for the best interests of the community to be fixed. Otherwise, you die.

You missed 2 larger groups than those who can't afford it; the 25million who are here illegally and those don't want to work so we pick up the tab. plus you have the lawyers who will sue for anything. Tort reform itself would save us 30%.

there will be that fine line where some ppl really can't afford health insurance but are forced to pick it up because obama will charge them every month. It is stupid though, I'm sorry, if you can't afford health insurance for your family, then stop the drug usage, stop drinking, get rid of your cable, stop trying to make your crown vic a space car. obviously not everyone will give up things to "try" to afford it.

I say screw it and oh yeah, Tricare FTW!

And when you've already given those things up and can't afford it after rent and groceries, what then?

Assuming that spending is the issue is hilarious really.
