Why can't you consider this in your asking price? Is it so you can seem more "competitive"?

Fvck that, ask for a dollar amount you're okay with CONSIDERING the paypal fee and leave it at that.

Example: you want $15 USD for an item and you say "plus 3% for paypal fees". Well that'd be 45 cents... I'll just leave it at that...

    its really laughable both ways.

Count me in on this, if I'm that worried about the fees, I'd just include it in the price, if the guy makes me an offer on a part, whatever it is, that's what it is... None of this add 3% crap or whatever...

I usually offer free shipping and add the shipping cost also. People see free shipping and their brain tells them it's a good deal. Plus if you lose a couple bucks it's better than the item not selling.

Yeah I've been noticing that alot lately. Annoying as hell. Especially when the fees on the item would only be like 30 cents it just screams jew.

Cause when he said he wanted $15 for it he meant $15! NOT $14.55. Geez. $.45 is a lot of money theses days. Hell he could buy a half of a can of Pepsi for that kind of dough. Hope you guys understand now. lol

It's a lose-lose situation, if you post that you want $15.76 shipped for something, someone is going to offer 15 and then get upset when you don't accept that offer.

If I post something up for $20, I'll probably take 15 for it, but I don't want to get hit with the paypal fees.

You're right, it's the price you pay when you do internet commerce, both on the seller and the buyers side.
