I got one, an alternator on a catera or northstar engine those are fun. I had to do springs in a busted jeep today and a frozen brake line on a dakota which uncrewed part of the proportioning valve.

    damn, this thread got HUGE!

anyway, *****ing or not, i have more important things to be doing, rather than wasting my time trying to fix a dumb motor. i know a lot of you are fanatical about cars, but i don't have time to settle down just yet and toy around and mod. this car has to be my reliable source for transportation, not something that's going to be a strain and a hassle.

so, i sold it. and uhh, yeah that's that. haha
A fan of Pontiac and their cars since my birth in Pontiac.

Proud owner of the world's worst '98 GTP, falling apart in every way!

go for an 04-08, as long as the tranny is working fine, there won't be any issues unless the previous owners ****ed the car up by abusing it.
