What do you hate about Thanksgiving?

I hate Thanksgiving cause the food sucks. I hate turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, cranberry salad, and stuffed peppers. Not to mention when someone makes Oyster dressing. All the people who brought a dish want you to try theirs and you feel bad if you don't. Then you eat the nasty **** **** and you have to act like you like it. The only thing I like is pumpkin pie. I'd rather have an Angus Ribeye on the charcoal grill with cheesey texas toast and a loaded salad and baked potato with butter and sour cream!

Maybe I will cook that while they all eat that crap that they brought. Had to get that off my chest. Damn I feel better! LOL

I forgot about leftovers for a week! Damn, I'm glad I'm single again. No wife to tell me we're having leftovers again and again and again and again and again. Yeah black friday sucks too! I stay hidden in my dark basement all day. Kinda reminds me of Silent Hill or something.

I love the food and I hate how I never have enough money to take advantage of some of the sales. But it's the crowds at places that I hate, I almost never go into town on BF.

I hate how you have to go to like 3 different houses depending on how many people you know. Im pretty much done with turkey after the first meal and still have to eat 2 more meals!!!

Truth

3 hour drives and then dashing 1.5 hours in three directions from there. It just sucks, but we take some extra time off and spend a few days with the parents.

terrible, right? it's really bad because for 5 1/2 hours i have to stand in one place and act like I care if the customer has a good thanksgiving

EXACTLY. Retail blows ass holes.

Stand there, boredly, and awkwardly:
Me: "Hi, did you find everything alright?"
then you get the "yeah" or the occasional problem that pisses you off more.

Then ring them out, and they say "oh here I'll get you exact change..." And they dig in their pockets or purses for 46 minutes while you stand there aimlessly contemplating suicide.

That sound about right? lol I could go on more if you'd like.

I HATED retail. I'm so glad I'm out now.
