I'm not even quite sure how to take this thread, but first off, people who got thier cars handed to them aren't always the one's talking about how fast their car is or how their life suckes becuase the 360 crapped out. As one of the younger members on this forum (19) I for one know where the attacks are directed at. I also know that many of the younger members on this forum know how to work on cars and can offer great advice. I bought my own first car and have worked on it myself since just becuase that's how people learn, and I will offer advice to those who need it becuase I want people to learn from what I learned. This site has different sections for a reason. Go under a certain section and you can find whatever you want. Search hard enough and you could figure out everything you would ever want to know about a GP and then some, but I guess some of us actually have lives outside of eating, sleeping and driving a GP, thus, topics not related to GP's. When you go to work, do you only talk about the actual work, or do you talk about your personal life and such to co-workers? Same applies to any forum.

yeah I was gonna say diesels are def nice trucks with lots of potential and doesnt take much to make them fast exhaust and a programmer I know a kid with a duramax runnin 1000lbs of torque and hes runnin 12.80s I think in a quad cab truck now thats impressive

I also agree about the pointless threads.
You can get MAD amounts of power out of a 12v Cummins. The only problem is the power you get, is 24/7. All the upgrades are mechanical. No chips or plug-and-play or anything convenient like that. They are very very reliable, but when you start getting into the high torque/hp ratings, you get crappy mileage. 24v Cummins would be my route. But my Powerstroke is doin just fine

Also, there is NO WAY he's getting 900 hp. ESPECIALLY if its a daily driver in a 12v. The most I've ever seen at a dyno days for HP is around 875 out of a Duramax. Torque is all I care about tho
2003 F-350 7.3L Powerstroke, hybrid (burns diesel and rubber ), lots of mods, and gets 22.5 mpg!

If he's getting 1000 ft/lbs of torque he's got more than just exhaust and a tuner lol. Sounds like a $7,000+ set up!!

your rant ='s FAIL, your obviously not asking the right ppl or posting in the right section. some jokes are added but you can't always expect a solution to your problem in the matter of seconds...
