I AM SO IRRITATED WITH THESE WINDOW REGULATORS,I GOT MY CAR JUST OVER A YEAR AGO,IN THE FIRST MONTH I HAD TO REPLACE THE DRIVERS FRONT,WITHIN THE LAST FOUR MONTHS I HAVE HAD THE REMAINING LAST THREE REGULATORS GO ON ME WITH THE LAST OF THE THREE BEING WHEN IT STARTED RAINING THIS MORNING.I HAVE HAD NO MONEY TO PUT INTO THIS LATELY AND NOW MY BLOWER MOTOR HAS WENT BECAUSE OF THE WATER MAKING IT RUST FROM THE LEAK WHEN RAINING HARD,NOT GOOD TO HAVE ONE WINDOW WORK IN FLORIDA WITH NO A/C. PEEVED AT THE MOMENT

At least its your drivers side window that rolls down!

I JUST had to replace my drivers side yesterday.. wasnt too bad, new motor/reg was $55 shipped.

My rear windows dont work though, so i need to get a new switch, or 2 more motor regs.. want to get a group buy going on? lol

It could be worse man, be thankfull one window rolls down.

Honestly for the price, Its much more cost effective, to just replace the entire assembly, like i said, i picked mine up for 55 dollars. Not too bad, a motor is like 30-40, so you might as well replace everything, instead of band-aiding. If your From what i can see, the OE regulator didnt have a spec of grease on it, but the aftermarket one i purchased had a good layer of greese covering it..

The guy who sold me my car actually drilled through the door shell, and shoved a 4x4x4 chunk of wood under the window, and then drilled a COUPLE screws into it.

Made me really happy to find that out. Thanks D-Bag

In the newer Bonnevilles.. we fix them instead of replace. Then you aren't at the mercy of the next piece of plastic.

BTW.. 92-99 Bonneville regulators rock, move fast and never ever ever fail.

    W bodies..lol
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Depends on the car, replacing a regulator/motor in a firebird is a NIGHTMARE.

Did a drivers side once before, and it took a few hours to replace it.
