Its mainly the drivers that give them a bad name and even thats all just opinion At my school theres was at least 8 guys who bought foxbodys and automatically thought they had some heat and could take any one
the only guy at the school with a stang that has seen track time has an 03 cobra and has around 4000 into it

Stock Fox's are around the MID 15's with a GOOD driver.
The right suspension setup, tires, and bolt on's, your looking at a MID 13 sec car.. once again, depending on the driver.
Either way, you are correct about attitude, but not everyone has common sense.. but that's what keeps us all so entertained.

Come to where I live and you'll change your mind and IMO thye are worse than Corvette owners here. No bullsh*t. Maybe it is different in your neck of the woods, so you must be lucky.
And so are GTP's. Reason I went with this platform and not the '02 GT I was able to buy was because everyone and their dog has a Mustang...tell me the ratio of modded mustangs vs. grand prix w-bodys and that'll tell you why I didn't want one. I'm not knocking the car dude, just mainly the drives...even here at the local dragstrip the only guys that you can talk to that own a Mustang are the guys that KNOW they have a fast car...not these bolt-ons SN95's that have trouble breaking out of 14's or have to spray to get a good time...because I'm just running a FWD V6 after all...my sh*t is weak compared to their's right? I mean, I had a middle aged guy in a Roush 427 with the Roush charger on it and one of those really tiny pulley's...I for sure thought those cars were fast and he came over and laughed at my 3.1" and said that thing must be pretty slow to have that big of a pulley on it...too bad that thing only ran a 13.8. Sure must be sad to spend 45 grand on a new "FAST" Mustang and get powned by a V6 4 door family sedan with FWD and 2 less cylinders. It's people like that I started this rant for...just crap like that...then when I tried to talk to him later on just to try and get him to say some ricer excuses he sat in his car wit hthe windows rolled up. It's stuff like that that gets to me...either put up or shut up...that's the golden rule of racing

GTP's VS Mustang's when it comes to owners/modders, Mustangs win all day. There are a TON more out there, that is also why I bought my GTP as well, it's a great car in not just speed, but luxury and features.Originally Posted by bluegtp91

I don't knock any car that can put down good times, no matter what it is.. however much someone wants to spend on a car is their choice.
As far as (5.0) SN95's go, they were junk. I'd never buy one, my VERT is a 3.8.. made for cruising around in florida.
You also have to keep in mind, Supercharged VS N.A... If you charged any mustang.. it's a world of difference.. but that also goes for most cars.
Like I said, $ makes a car go fast.. no matter what it is.
The whole thing I'm just trying to say, not all mustang owners are douche bags, trust me I GET PISSED when I See or hear about people like them.. same goes for the "Rice" world, it's mostly the owners, not the cars.

Some kid I know just bought a ****ty and I mean ****ty mustang, full "body kit" some huge ugly hood and a ricer spoiler, it's loud but it's just gay... He says it's a 5.0 but it's a 93-on bodystlye or what's left of it lol idk he thinks it's badass and shows off I'm like dude that's a gay ricer rustang **** off. I'm gonna walk his ass in a couple months when I get more mods lol

Didnt they still have the 5.0 engine upto early 04 ? i could be wrong I worked on one in my first semester that had a 5.0 it was the gaystang body style 93-98?

95 Is the LAST year of the 5.0
94 Started the SN95 Style
93 Was the last FOXBODY style.

93 is a foxbody, you probably mean 94+ body style which started the SN95
I've seen a few of those "Riced" and it's just simply insulting and stupid.
The 94 and 95 5.0 versions are slow as all hell. I believe they are 16's stock.

Ok, well I used to own a mustang GT and loved it, prolly the funnest car Ive ever owned... but think about this here we are talking about how big of douches mustang guy/girls are and yet none of you have stopped to think of how big of a douche some of you sound? day in day out there are people on here that **** like " oh silly ricer fag, so slow, they are just punk *****es!" umm, hello WE ARE DOUCHE BAGS AS WELL!!! we love our cars, respect and prolly hold them to higher regards than we do any other car... all Im saying is that Mustang owners (being a previous one) love their cars, LOVE THEM, so is it so wrong for them to have a lot of pride??? Personally I love mustang guys they crack me, so have a good day but I really get tired of reading how everyone but us GTP/GT guys are douches. ****s gettin old!

I'm not bashing mustangs, I think they are great cars and have some really great exhaust tones, hell I almost got a 5 spd, actually I wish I didbut I do love my gt. Anyways... Idk it's just that mustang owners usually get so worked up about the fact that they own a "fast" car that they act like **** heads and show off. They are just wayy to common in my area, everyone had them. I'd take a camaro or trans am over a mustang any day. Trans ams are rare and the ls1's **** on everything they race lol

lol yeah well i dont roll with stangs.... I smoke them in the gtp.....But I was talking about the newer ones from 00 and up or the ones with out the 5.0l and all the 4.6 2 valve are a joke.

Yup yup. All show and no go. I always loved the GTPs so when the guy at AAMCO told me about these 3.1L supers, i was all over that s**t!! One GTP sat across the street from my house in a parking lot, the motor caught fire, and someone shot the hood open to do it. I was ready to drive over there and tow her home, but the security gaurd stopped me and made me leave before she was strapped to me

I just wanted to say, that I personally don't do the mustang scene. But I have two buddies withmustangs... one of them spend two days detailing my car for my car show yesterday , free of charge. ALL for free. haha.
point of the post.... I'd go to hell if I bashed a mustang owner now. haha
