    OK, I own a 2006 GP GT2. i am tired of having to go to the drivers side door to unlock the car. So i figure..no big deal..will just get keyless entry. WRONG!!! i called several dealerships and gave them my vin#...no keyless entry made for this model?? !! It will cost me like $300 a door to have it customed!...arrrrggghhhh! any ideas?

    Well I think you should live in AR! Im not sure who you called but sounds like they are ripping you a new one! I bought a 08' Chevy truck its the basic as basic can get! No power windows or locks! It cost me 250 to have keyless entry installed in it! I also know most autopart stores sale the keyless entry kits. You might want to check into them atleast get it for ur driver side door.

    i thought about that......i got that quote from a shop where i got my tint from..he was saying something about it being more b/c of the cable in the door and to modified...idk?

    Well the reason it didnt cost so much is because the truck has OnStar! So they can pop the locks! All the people had to do was just run the wires and give us a key clicker thingy! lol. So im pretty sure it would be easy to do. I suck at wiring things up but if ur good im sure it wouldn't be to hard.

    erm i didnt even know in 06 that they had a GT2. if its not already equip'd go with A nice aftermarket...but if u dont have the cash, u just dont have it. But you'd LOVE it...

    my opnion, go aftermarket with the digital screen so u know what bumber they hit, lol

    Should NOT cost that much...go to best buy and pick up a viper system or something, installed it shouldn't top $500

    If i am not mistakin...the gt2 has dual a/c and radio buttons on the steering wheel...or i maybe wrong...idk?

    I dont really know what a GT2 is...but I have a 07 GT (sc of course) I have the controls on the steering wheel keyless entry remote start dual a/c leather heated seats rmm the only thing I DONT have is tap shift! lmao.

    yeah...they stopped the gt1 and gt2 models in 05 ...oops..my bad
