Stupid F-ing pay-pal can suck my left nut! Freakin losers! ok, sorry just had to get that out.
So I plan on modding my gtp up, and I live in good old Canada where people dont do anything to their car's I guess, Cuz you gotta buy everything from the U.S. if you want upgrades for your car. So I figured that with me not having a credit card, I would sign up for pay-pal, and I could order parts from anywhere without problems. HA ya right. First thing, Pay-pal charges me an extra 2.5% currency conversion. I know it doesent sound like much, but when I plan on spending a few grand it adds up quick. and the fact that I pay an extra 25 cents on the dollar with the Canadian dollar rate as it is, plus extra for shipping to here, and duity fees on top of that when it hits the border... adds up to a crap load! So all that is a sh**ty part of life for me, nothing I can really do about it. BUT when pay-pal takes 10 days just to clear the money to the seller.... then they send me my stuff not only am I over paying but I gotta wait for WEEKS to get anything! As I said, I dont have a credit card, so pay-pal is setup thru my bank account, and apparently they can take the money out of my account the next day, but will not send it to the seller for 10 FREAKIN DAYS!!!!
So to sum it up... pay-pal sux and I hope all that read this have a good day

Go to moneymart, get a pre-paid mastercard and use that as your back up source on paypal and make instant transfers as you would be certified. Or, forget about paypal and just toss ur few grand on this card and use it. The card cost I think $20 bucks and a few dollars to load but Im afraid you cant get away from the currency exchange fee. It also sucks when parts show up at your door and before Mr. UPS hands it over he is asking for another $75 bucks in tarrif charges.

Ya, I was talking to a friend of mine today about the pre-paid card, I am going to look into that. The "Tarrif" charge you are talking about I think is the same a duity fees??

Tarrifs are taxes that are placed on goods when trading occurs, so yeah I am almost 100% positive they are Duty Fee's.
