I've had the same problems and I just kept telling her that I want her to stop talking to a certain guy. Then out of no where she came to me and told me she was through with talking to other guys cause she only wants to be with me and that no other guy means anything to her and she doesn't want to lose me.
I'm a pretty big kid at my highschool (6'5) and the other kid was a little scrawny guy about 5'9. He thinks he is the biggest bada** at the school and can say and do what ever he wants. He use to text my girl everyday and she would text back always. That use to piss me off so much I just wouldn't talk to her cause, well not to be cocky or anything but all the girls at my school love me, so I would talk to them. This went on for about the first month in our realtionship so I sat down and talked with her and told her that if she doesn't change the way she goes about talking to guys then I will simpily just leave her. I told her were in highschool I don't want to be dealing with this during basketball and being pissed off at you. The next day is when she came up to me and said she'd stop.
We've now been together for almost a year.(about 17 more days) I've learned to just ignore her talking to other guys. We went on a couple single day breaks (which are pointless) because I got mad and said the wrong thing. Always think before you speak. We haven't had any problems in the last, well, 5 months and ever since I started to ignore her talking to other guys she suddenly just stopped completely. So you could easily just try and ignore it for a week or so and she how that goes.
Another thing is try and spend as much time with her as you can. I know that the more time you two have together while you aren't fighting the happier you two will be. If everytime you spend time with her she is on her phone with the guy take her out to do something where she can't carry her phone with her and text the whole time. Show her how much fun she can have with you while not talking to the other guy or even thinking about the other guy. For me everyday me and my girl walk to all our classes together. As soon as I get done with practice and she is done with soccer we hang out every night.
So all sumed up just try and ignore it and spend as much time with her as you can. I know it helped out my relationship but yet im just only 16.
Yea he proves a point, i wouldnt get too mad over it, dont overeact but dont take it like its nothing, show her you care and show her you mean what you say.
by the way gafford what high school do you go to? a shawnee mission one im guessing

Re: Unruly, or just no respect?
Well, It turned out like this so far...
To make a LONG story short... I came within a hairsbreath of kicking his ass...
I stepped to his face, blah blah blah, it ended up with me just about decking him... I backed off after that day, and things got SOMEWHAT better... she still talks to him, but I made it simple. Bring him around me, and he's gettin layed out. simple. =] ---
So, since then, he hasn't been around me. He's apparently still "just a friend" but I've decided **** it. (scuse the language, but that one I didn't censor purposely as an expression of feeling/mood moreover than rudeness)
So, to make this long story short... He got pissed off challenged me to a race... against a G35..
:th_laugh-pointup:
A G35... are you joking me... but its not a drag of any sort... its my specialty... from point A to B back to A.... any street, as long as you get to point B, bring back whats there, back to A... Thats set for this month... mopping the pavement with this piece of s**t G35 will be a joke!
Oi! Btw... did I mention its for pinks?:th_nanana: . . . Looks like my girls gettin a G35 for her birthday! :th_king-evil:
Apart from that... I just been takin it easy.. had a fight with the girl that nearly cost us our relationship... its not in the green zone yet... I guess I'd call it a yellow... but it seems as if its going back towards green... at least I hope...
Oh, yea! Speaking of the idiocracy of this kid...
This nutbutter of a s**thead has the gall to call me a liar and to tell me "Marines aren't in Iraq, only Afghanistan." :th_wtf:
He's never picked up a New York Times obviously... :th_laugh-lol1::th_frowning:
On another note.. I wanna thank all of yall for your advice.. Sometimes I bug out... (you should see me when im pissed and driving :th_cigarsmoker::th_dice-small::burnrubber0::th_coocoo: Heh!
-Thanks-

Re: Unruly, or just no respect?
You both need counciling! You have a child together and are married. That "just friends" stuff is bull sh#$. I, and many others have been fed that line and been burnt hard! You are married and she should respect how you feel about this dude. Or.... find a girl or better yet one of her friends and play the same dame game!! Girls like a challenge, let her begin to wonder where your heart lies.

Being a female I SOOO agree! If we don't feel wanted we will try VERY hard to get your attention. I did the same thing. I didn't cheat on my x-hubby but well now he is my X! Guys can be JUST friends...but if he does not like YOU then NO he can NOT be JUST her friend! He will do whatever it takes to hurt you threw her. But I will pray for you and her both! And good luck on the race...:th_biggrin2:

Re: Unruly, or just no respect?
ehh, hate to break it to ya but the g35's are no joke really...
a 99 gt should have gotten spanked by a g35... but a gto should have beat the g35, hard to say if that would make up for the gt or not though.
But thats with good drivers all around, could have played out differently in the streets.
I wouldn't argue with him or give him any attention, you just gotta be above him and be the better man, it will show over time, right now he keeps getting the best of ya with your blowups. Whatever happens, i hope if your gf breaks up with you, you dont kill him.

Re: Unruly, or just no respect?
Happy to hear the race turned out in your favor.

I agree, your girl is most of the issue, she should be respecting you and making him wait. Why are you taking a back seat to him? Why is she devoting time you have with her to text his punk ass? Thats BS!
Sounds like he needs to have his ass snatched off the street, taken for a ride and dumped in a field.

Re: Unruly, or just no respect?
You sound a bit controlling (or TRY to be hah) and pretty insecure. "I'm gonna kick your a$$" (8th grade?) If you stepped back and looked at the situation, the other guy isn't the problem... it's just like ANY guy to try to get laid (whether he is trying or not), so it's not his fault. Try looking at the one in bed with you, that's the one who has the power to see that it's bothering you and finish it... and if she doesn't see that, what makes you think she gives a sh$%. My girl would chop my balls off if a) I was texting a girl and wouldn't stop and b)kept doing it when she already told me it pissed her off. Fault lies with wifey IMO, sorry.

Finally Someone who agrees... And Yeh, I believe the problem did lay with wifey.. that was the issue, I didn't really know how to approach her.. and don't think that she was the only problem, because with him supposed to be my "boy" and all, some fault did lie with him too... but lay down with dogs, get up with fleas...
Wifey and I hashed it out... I guess the a Infinity kinda helped... heh..

I won't even say what i think, but I never did tell you what was on the 99 GP GT, did I? ;) but back to the topic at hand...
Things have gotten a bit better... actually, I still didn't know how to really approach the topic, and she knows I frequent the website, so I had her read this post... and all of your comments... kinda swayed her a bit...
So, I really do owe you guys a thanks. Is it illegal to post many thanks for one thread Syn???:th_question1:
Anywho... Wifey likes the G35... but now she wants a G37 since she seen one in candy red, and fell "in love" with it... :th_nervous::th_sign-omg:
