So,
As i posted a month ago, i managed to get out of the disaster of a vehicle Taurus SHO.
I got a volvo from the dealer as they gave me 2k over KBB.
Well,
They ended up taking on maintenance plans and a warranty to the car. When i said i didnt want them i was told "My friend is the VP at your Credit union, i texted him and he went in and lowered the interest and overode to give you this term. he didn't want to until i told him you were getting these plans" I figured it was BS, but it wasnt too far off from my old payment and i was so fed up with the ford .... i just wanted to be done.
I was told my maintenance plan covered all the factory scheduled maintenance, and things like breaks, belts and spark plugs. WELL, after fighting them for a month to get it enabled, i go to my local ford dealer to schedule service and i get told it ONLY covers oil changes and tire rotations. The $2863 plan .... only covers oil changes. Not only that they screwed up the interval the contract i have says 7.5k they entered for 10. So 4 "Works packages" aka $40 +20 for 2 more quarts. I payed $2900 to cover $250 worth of stuff. WHAT THE #######.
Thankfully a finance manager at the local dealer showed me their cost on the Basic plan which is what i have but only usable at the dealer where you buy it. Their cost $255 . So aparently the value of being able to go to multiple ford dealers is worth $250. Who knew?
On top of this i explained why i bought the plan and she goes "thats illegal, they cant make loan approval depend on plans, they are completely seperate"
Not only is this plan a scam, i was illegally pushed into it.
Its time to laywer the F up. I am so sick of this disreputable dealership bending me over the hood of my car and thrusting till im bloody.
