It creates the habit of scanning for it every couple of days, so I don't get a nasty surprise one day.

I told him multiple times not to do any wot pulls until he got it replaced. The next day, i see that he went 130+ on the highway. I called him out on it saying he will blow his **** up if he keeps doing it. Didn't listen and a couple weeks later, it blew up.

Seems pretty obvious who's at fault. Some kids just don't listen.
