As I've said before some of the issue are intermittent, I had the car over a week before the oil light came on. The cruise control yes I should have realized, most of the issues weren't something I'd notice on the roads around the dealership, it's 55, and curved. The trans acts it's ass when in stop and go didn't see that on the test drive. Yes I felt a somewhat hard shift, I should have investigated that more. But most of the issues simply didn't occur or the circumstances didn't appear for them. I put the car on a lift a few days after buying it and there's nothing I or my father a master tech with 30 years saw that raised any flags. Heck I didn't notice half the problems till I took a 200 mile drive a fee days later

    Update,
called ford, had them call the dealer and finally got my warranty activated. immediately took it to a local dealer. They replaced my oil pressure sensor under warranty. Found out that all 3 mounting points on the cruise radar were broken (knew this) The clips break off fairly commonly on the older sensors and it was zip tied on. They said it was collision damage and the warranty doesn't apply. Then im told the wiring harness where it plugs into the trans is mangled. again from accident damage, also not covered. Got a rough quoute from the dealer ~4k to fix. spent 100 for the warranty deductible and another 240 in daigs not covered. I call the dealer that sold it, told they'll "make it right" but I need to talk to finance. Called 3 times the next day, got nothing. Drove 50 miles up their. GM and sales manager were gone for the day. Finance manager said all he can do was cancel the warranty. Im fuming at this point but I tell him ill be back the next day to speak to the GM. Took the day off from work Drove another 100 miles round trip and spoke with the GM. The GM first was very upset when I told him about being given the run around trying to reach people. He gave me his Cell number. Then once we got down to it, they wanted to look over the car and see what they thought was going on and if it could be warrantied. If not they said they will cover 50% of the repairs. had the car towed up so they can look at it. But at this point I don't have 2k to give them to fix it. Ive reached out to a laywer but realistically, I don't have the cash to sue. I found a ford dealer that sells the parts for employee pricing about 360 for the wiring harness instead of 650, and 800 for the radar instead of 1600. Im hoping I can convince the dealer to order the parts through there, and let me have my father do the work. (ASE certified Master Tech)
once I know whats going on im reaching out to ford again, maybe if I hammer them enough ill get some sort of allowance.

I mean heck my $400 230k mile GTP didn't have this many problems. I cant believe there aren't any laws that realistically protect consumers.

I am a firm believer that it is not what you know, but who. I would give it a shot, what's the worse that can happen. The squeaky hinge get's the oil. Make sure you file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, if enough complaints are filed against one place, an investigation will take place and could lead to charges against the business.

50% is still Bull****, this is a car they are claiming it was in a wreck after the fact. It was not disclosed to you in sale, now you have legal recourse BIG TIME, you need to find a lawyer that works without retainer and will nail them to take it back (all on their dime). Hell just name dropping that your lawyer will be contact might get them to "make it right"

Like someone else said, stand out front with a sign that says they sell wrecked cars, you will get attention.

    Wreck Cover Up

Another aspect of the Virginia Consumer Protection Act protects used car buyers from purchasing a vehicle when the vehicle’s history has been misrepresented. When a vehicle has been damaged in a wreck, that fact must be disclosed by the seller. A 2003 Virginia case dealt with a dealer who purchased a vehicle from salvage and repaired it, using touch up paint to cover up some of the damage. He tried to sell the vehicle twice, and eventually he had to settle out of court with one of the owners. If a dealer is unwilling to give the full value of the sale back after learning of a car’s previous history, he can be sued for the price of the sale plus damages.

If you have documented proof from the other dealer of them saying it was a wreck, I'd drop that on the GMs desk and say see you in court. Hell start getting on to the owner of the dealer too.

You have recourse, you need to put the footwork in NOW before it is too late, its been a month as it is which means that door is nearly closed on you and you are going to be stuck.

Thought i mentioned this in the post above but it was listed on the carfax. HOWEVER carfax listed it as having no structureal damage. To me, if there was enough impact to damage the trans, thats structural.

If there is no physical damage to the case as in broken pieces/cracks it is not structural at all. If the unibody frame is not bent, it's not structural either.

Internal electrical damage or valve body problems like yours has with slamming gears or slipping is not something they could predict from an accident.

Its the wiring harness on the trans its been crushed against something. i realize internal failures arent structural, but i dont see how the drive train could shift enough to cause that unless something structural occurred. Othewise there is a design flaw, which means its a failed component in my eyes.
