So we took a drive to the top of Mt. Lemmon for memorial day. Two adults, three kids and all the supplies for a decent picnic lunch. Car ran flawlessly. It's really a fun drive going up. Even more fun coming down. Really got me thinking about the F-body upgrade...

Anyhow, thank you to all the men and women who paid the ultimate price in their service.

I'd like to make another trip up and down in the near future. This time without the family. They were starting to get a little sea-sick so I had to back off some.

It'd be nice to get a AZ go gp thing going on especially tuscon since that's closest to me.

I've been out there, I enjoyed it. I took an Explorer to the top and back one night that was a bunch of fun.

It's the range due north of Tucson

My buddy has a stanced and cat-backed, but otherwise stock IS250. Been wanting to make a late night run up there with him. Curious how we compare. My car's been sitting in the garage for the last 3 weeks trying to work out a fuel pump/module issue.

Made the drive up again for Labor day, with the whole family. Got stuck behind a minivan doing 30mph max the whole way. Holy KR!! I was seeing IAT's of over 130° and 4+ degrees of KR between 1800 and 2500 rpm. Couldn't get any clean air. Frustrating. I need to make a night drive (and a CAI). On the plus side, on the way there, I smoked my buddy's IS250 form a dig. It was a red light drag race. We looked at each other like "wanna go?" Of course I was down. I pulled away like he fell asleep. When we got to our destination I asked him why he didn't even try. He sheepishly said "I did try." Made me laugh. He has put so much money into that car. I put on a set of $220 headers. Ahhh, good times.
