This thread is 2 years old. Tengis has since joined the military. We don't really do anything GP related anymore around here.
Ill hit up the occasional meets during the week(Richardson) on Monday night and sometimes Firewheel mall on Tuesday, but that's about it. Once in a blue moon ill head to the track and abuse the car.

So there's not much of a 3800 scene around Dallas anymore? Would you be able to refer me to a couple decent junkyards I can find parts for a Gen V that sell their parts for decent prices? I'd like to have the majority of my build done by the next dyno day.

Pretty much non existent. In fact I'm typically the only one that shows up to any meets. Don't know of any junkyards in the area with 04+ GP's. I'd look at Craigslist. You can also check pick n pull's website. They have 3-4 junkyards in the Dallas area. Haven't checked in a couple of months though.

Theres local gm clubs in dallas. Im part of one and im trying to get more gps there. Slow6 is on it too. Go to Dfwgmelite.com
