Or we can just go in on a new puller and split the cost?

You should be able to use a hardened bolt, with a nut and a big, thick flat washer and install it like a power steering pulley. I think I might leave the snout off and put it in the freezer to simply installation.

Im going to make my own pulley remover out of 1/2" steel, I have a torch, a grinder, and some tap's. When I get some spare time, I might make one, and see if any of the members here want to try it out. I keep yall updated.

This motor, not too much.. 1.9's, headers, 3.5/3.4 pulley. Going to pick me up a L36 or L32 Block if not whole engine, then build from there.. Not sure on the new motor yet...

Greetings all, I'm here in Shawnee, OK. Would be interested in some kind of meet in mid or late Jan...

Also, is anyone know where the closest / best track is?

TV is an ok track (unless they made some improvements)
What i hated was the very short turn offs
It seemed to start to go up a slight hill at the end
And last few times i was there they never prepped the track

Tulsa raceway park is mo better (official NHRA track)
Got 2/4 miles + a 200' sand trap to stop
    Prepped

But again i have not been to TVR in years and things change.

I love the Tulsa track.. We went right after it was rebuilt with Will and it was awesome. When I get ready to run my car again, it will be in Tulsa..

Im in the process of installing the pulley, I have about a 1/4" to go and it wont move, its the zzp 3.5". Im about to take the snout off and take it to a machine shop to see if they can press it on. I need to get this car running, my wife has been out of a car for two weeks.

I have a pulley puller here. If your up for the drive I will install/remove pulleys for FREE, ya I don't charge for this myself.

We'll have to get together all of us when the weather gets a little nicer. Probably only about 3 or 4 of us from Kansas would actually come anyway, nothing like the number we could have.

There is a pretty good Mexican restaurant I ate at in Ponca City, across the street from the Wal-Mart there on Prospect. An idea anyway. Unless the guys in Missouri, or Topeka would like to partake in our get together, no way in hell would they want to drive THAT far tell ya now.
