If you can get in touch with him, I'd recommend Thomas. He was on boards as PDXGTP
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I did a search on here and there is no PDXGTP listed.

ok cool. Short list of what ive done,
1.9 ratio RR and 90lbs springs.
NGK TR6 plugs and 180 zzp stat.
Speed dady headers, 3" down pipe, U bend delete, 3" back to duel 2.5's.
    3.4 pully.
ZZP stage 1 pcm. still have stock pcm too.

Just had a stage 2 TEP trans built and should be getting it back today.

also purchased an intercooler and it is being shiped as we speak.

My real concern is weather or not I should continue to use the ZZP pcm or to put the oem one back in with the new trans build. Ive been through a few transmissions and am wondering if the modded pcm could be causing an issue. Too high of pressures breaking forward bands? I was told it is set to shift at 6100rpm.
maybe i need a custom tune done locally.

do you have a way to scan it? i would imagine that it is ready for some more fuel. you need to get a wideband

you will always be better off with a custom tune then a mail order. if you are tearing up transmissions either you drive like an asshole or something is wrong with the tune. going back to a stock PCM probably isnt the answer.

probably an AFX or the NGK unit. i personally have an LM-1 but if you dont plan to move it between vehicles i would get one that is permanent.

at very lease scan it (im talking about real time scanning, not just pulling codes) and look for KR and what your narrow band O2's are at right now. i wouldnt worry about much else. that will at least tell you if your setup is safe. tuned is another issue. i would call some dyno shops and ask them if they have any experience using HPtuners and ask if they have ever tuned a 3800.

if you are getting KR stop beating it until you get it tuned.
