Chris Moberg out in plant city does amazing work. Has been building racing engines for over 30 years. He is the only person Eislies machine shop will recomend insane pricing and does top of the line work. Everything has to be perfect. He is retired and loved doing what he is doing. Has a full shop and does not even advertise but always has work by name

    call him at 813-986-1423

works at 25 dollars an hour and can do anything, completely rebuilt my engine and its amazing. and will only make it look show room worthy when fixing stuff up. polishes everything etc.

25 an hour aint to bad, but i would rather have a flat rate of the work to be done. he may be good, but also maybe he's a old retired milk man and it could take 3 times as long to get stuff done.

my recommendation is never let anyone work by the hour for anything, (not just machine work) you never seem to come out on top, in most cases. i dont know this guy, im just saying.....my 2 cents.

i wasn't say you got f ed over by any means or he stinks on ice or anything like that, its just always better to get a flat rate for any work you have done, home, car, yard work, what ever it is, paying by the hr can bite you hard in the ass. thats all im saying, its a life lesson of sorts lol say you need a new kitchen floor, all seems good till it took that guy 3 weeks when he said 1 week, and now your paying him much more now, you know what i mean? it happens all to much these days.
