Jeff has tuned three cars for me; a 2002 Chevy Camaro 35th LE with a Lid, headers with catted y-pipe, and underdrive pullies. A 1999 30th Anniversary T/A with a Lid, Headers with Off Road Y-pipe, and LS6 intake. Finally a 1998 Trans Am With Lid, LS6 intake, and headers with off road y-pipe. I used to be big into F-bodies but with the Economy the way it is I had to sell my toys and get something more practical, ( 2004 Grand Prix GTP Comp G) but I still have the mod bug. I already have a K&N FIPK and 180 * t-stat on the Grand Prix and plan on a full exhaust from the headers back, along with a smaller pulley and 1.9 roller rockers. Then I'm going to take the car back up to Carolina Auto Masters and have Jeff tune it as well.

Awesome thanks so much. I emailed Jeff and he got right back to me. He said he has done a lot of GTP's. I'm gonna go get a $400 Dyno tune. Should i tell him who referred me?

No Problem, you won't be dissapointed. Jeff's a nice guy and he knows what he's doing when it comes to GM vehicles.

I could have given you a pretty good tune for only $100 bucks (hp tuner credits). How much hp did you make tho?

Everything went good. I had trans issue on the way home that i thought was caused by the tune but wasnt. I ended up with 250 at the wheels, and a significant torque increase. I really like the shift pointsl. A friend reset all the trans stuff though trying to fix a shift issue that shows up when hot. It ended up being a loose vac. line. Jeff e-mailed me weeks later wondering if i got the trans problem fixed. Good customer service!

Where are you located? And whats a "pretty good tune"? I' wouldnt mind trying someone with more 3800 experience. I have 2 PCM's so i could try another tune without losing jeffs.

I'm located in Raleigh most of the time. A pretty good tune would include tuning your regular driving Air Fuel trims and then your WOT fueling, timing and tranny settings. If you want me to do a good job though you'll need to get a wideband for the WOT part.
