Thread: GRANDPRIXUS! Possibly the biggest Grand Prix meet ever?

So the Maxima guys tend to have Maxus once a year and it tends to be the biggest meet of Maxima's ever. In 2009 they had over 200 maxima's show. I say we beat that!

I was thinking July 2012 we have the biggest Grand Prix Meet of all time. Location would be centralized, somewhere around Ohio to Kansas. Locals of the area selected will be asked to help out in locating Hotels for some of us, maybe find an area with a local drag strip that we could use as well.

Open to suggestions on location, date and who would be in for this.

If no one wants to go as far as Branson...or KC...then what about St. Louis? That's the gateway...or so it's called...let's get something around there. Can't get much more central than Missouri as much as I hate to say it.

Lets also remember here that we have a decent number on Ontario members having something in that general region helps us get down there too!

Only reason I say STL...is because of I-70.

I think you'd be suprised at the demographic.. now lets be honest, most of our more vocal/active members are in the midwest.

The closest I see is Charleston Ill

Most active members on all 3 major GP forums are from the midwest.

Midwest wins for sure.

But there is a lot in PA as well.

If you canadians got a passport its not that bad of a drive.
