Lol it's like the old national GP meets all over again. St. Louis and Bransen is where it used to be done. I'm sure there's video floating around somewhere on the interwebz and it got so big Pontiac would come out IIRC.

I'm down for it as long as it doesnt conflict with the Pontiac Southern Nationals in Dallas, and I'll just trailer the car if need be.

I think if we are doing something this big it should be in Branson. I never got to go to branson, but it was always big, and they always seemed to have places to accomidate the size of the group.

ah come on just get a tent and plan your trip from camp ground to camp ground, i driven 15 + hrs in one day before for work, i'd like it better in my car vs a box truck lol bring a friend to split up the driving some too.

Branson would be fun, there's lots to do there and tons of scenery. Never been for a GP meet but it would be a nice place to go.

Aww dang! Didn't even know about it till a few seconds ago, but it sounds fun already!
I obviously wouldn't be dragging (or drinking for that matter ), but if it was close and I didn't have anything important going on I'd show up for the heck of it.

I'd be up for camping too, heck we've prolly got like 5 decent size tents around here, just a matter of getting them out.

You are not allowed within 20ft of the fire. But a GP meet and camp would be fun. I've got a giant tent lol

I'm sure that's not the only tent that shall be pitched.

I'm not a fan of the whole camping idea just because I'm not a nature person, I don't like not having showers and utilities, and I'm not 100% comfortable laying my head down with tons of strangers protected by vinyl/nylon and zippers. BUT I am open to the idea of camping, just prefer hotels is all

I vote for having (at least part of) it here.

Summit Motorsports Park - 1/4 Mile dragstrip
Summit Motorsports Park - Norwalk Ohio :: News 9/6/2011
    Norwalk Raceway Park
    1300 State Route 18
    Norwalk, OH 44857
    419-668-5555

Might be a bit too far North and East for some though...

I think a summit event would be fun, especially if we got them to somehow sponsor the event or us being there. Especially if we can tour the facilities.
