okay, people. i have been PMing a few with larger signatures and i have decided upon size requirements. the signature must be this:

    450 wide x 200 tall

i dont mind wide signatures, but i dislike when they take a lot of space on the screen, thus clouding posts that could be seen if it were smaller.

questions? concerns? it is easy to enforce this because i can check signature size in about 2 seconds by looking at the image properties. please take this into consideration when you are creating your signature images.

also, please don't get obscene with the text you use in your signature. if you have a large image, don't use a bunch of large text as well. keep it simple and clean.

do not center/right align your signatures! this is 100% obnoxious. i will edit it for you if you do it.

rocket installed a little mod that limits the width of everyones signatures to 468 pixels, so if yours was wider than that then it got shrunk automatically to be within that window.

The Jeep forum I was on did not allow sig pics, and no more than 4 lines of signature. That made it very nice to read threads.

If you want a pic of your car up, thats what avatars are for IMO.

Is there a way to put an option in your user controls that would allow you not to view mmbers signatures? On a couple of the other forums I am a member of there is an option in my control panel that eliminates me having to look at peoples huge signatures then people can post huge sigs and you have a choice wether to view it or not, beats the heck out of having to police all of the signatures!

So you want to be able to hide other peoples signatures while we get to stare at your huge ugly ass ford truck?

Always gotta be some drama, why the insults man? Gaurantee you its better than anything you got in your garage or you you wouldnt be hatin! Fyi I took it down because I realize this is a gp forum and I love my Grand Prix and always have and realize this is coming from a guy who would rather see a pic of my super cool $2500.00 sedan than he would my truck ... I wouldnt want to look at something I couldnt have as a constant reminder of where im at in life either.

    ............nice

Your reading way too much into this, pal.

My point was, you said you wanted to hide "huge" signatures so you didnt have to sift thru them when you have huge pictures yourself! I only used your Ford truck as an example because its the least relavent to this forum.
