LS6 works, just needs some modding.

Has anyone used a FAST IM?

Looks to me as if you would lose power if you swapped to this. I'm betting that whoever had this made was planning on feeding it with a turbo.

Yes it's been done but took a little bit of modding and looked kind of tacky IMO. Not really a way around it though

Well the ls4 intake is restrictive to an extent. From what I gather after it goes thru the TB it gets smaller. I can't remember how.much smaller but I've seen an ls6 and ls4 side by side and how much smaller it gets is stupid

It's more of the design, not which has a bigger TB opening.

The TB neck is the problem for us it almost cuts down 30% to snake around the opsu. this is the biggest restriction, and why its pointless to port the manifold leaving this piece intact.

why tacky? all the other LS manifolds besides the truck are cleaner on top unless you saw somebody with LS4 rails rigged to work with the Ls1/6 Intake.

Truthfully for the price of a FAST intake it's not really worth it. A FAST is what? like a grand for a new one. You can get an LS6 for less than half that. I'd get an LS6 and put the rest of the money toward headers, or a cam...or both.

depends on the mods i mean these manifolds pull power everywhere on modified engines. If you have heads and cam plus supporting mods a ls6 intake wont come in the same range as a fast will

I'm talking about switching to the manifold included in the link...
