Heat not working

I have a 07 gp and the heat isnt working. It has dual climate control. Nether side works but feels like it is blowing about 70 degrees. The controls are about 2 years old and thermostat is about the same and engine temp is ok.. Does anybody have any ideas. I want to try to fix it myself before a shop starts changing stuff out when the odds are they are they will just change the core ans i will get stuck with that plus some.

You could try back flushing the heater core.
