Well my son came and brought me the Transponder Key from the dealership this afternoon. When we got home I inserted the key in the trunk and it magically opened! It will not open the trunk with the Valet key at all. So I guess thats a good sign. I next tried the door and it opened it as well. Being that I know nothing about these cars I didn't try it in the ignition. I wasn't sure if it would disable anything and I need to bring it in for programming Friday morning. I'm real curious if it would have gone into ACCESSORY but I won't try it unless I'm sure I won't mess anything up with the ignition or starting the car. Two more days won't kill me I guess. If they are able to program the key and get the factory theft system to work it will have cost me 100 bucks as opposed to 150 for installing an aftermarket alarm system. Thanks for all the help here.
