What is Cat Protection Coolant?? I would assume cat protection is some sort of extra fuel enrichment to protect the cat but that is just a guess.. Anyone know what it is??
    Thanks

You mean Cat Protection over temp? I've never seen coolant mentioned.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

I don't think that HPT has that.

But I know I turned all the CAT (cat over temp) protection stuff off on mine because I have no cat converter.

Ahhhh there's something slightly different about cat overtemp in HPT. I didn't realize DHP said coolant.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Im pretty sure its the temperature the engine coolant has to reach before the cat overtemp protection can start.

I always turn all cat over temp protection settings off or to thier highest value on a car with no cat. My car would lay over after it was in third gear at WOT for more than 5 seconds. Basically all the way through the traps at the strip. Turned out to be Catalyst Protection Boost Shutoff in the supercharger settings.
