The problem is it won't start, the service engine light doesn't come on when I turn the key to on position, the fuel pump doesn't prime (it's new now with a new relay), it just acts like it is brain dead and I was wondering if it can be checked out of the vehicle.

Were you just saying that the fuel pump doesn't prime? But you have a new fuel pump, right? If so, I would be sure to check for a clogged filter, especially if you just put a new fuel pump in. Did you invest in a new fuel filter as well? If not, you may be pushing gas into a blocked fuel filter and that's exactly what my blocked fuel filter sounded like (when you turn the key on and wait, the fuel pump doesn't whine like it should for 5 seconds or so). BTW My fuel pump probably failed "because" my fuel filter was blocked. Just an idea though, good luck.
