nice write up !
Very nice
Very Nice Writeup Dude!!!
Looks exactly like my old MSP CAI, except the MSP is smoked of course. Nice job!
Awsome Write up....I think I'm gonna make one, My buddy makes Lexan windows, so I can prolly get the lexan for very cheap
interesting. could you also install some insulation like what is inside the Wizair intake? if so, what would that insulation be called? This could be a fun project.
the lexan is alot more temp proof then the aluminum of the Wizardair, added insulation is most likely not needed
NEED INFO PLEASE!!
Have a 2001 GT, only Mod added is a Cold Air Intake, why at times, when you hit the gas hard (to the floor), car starts lagging and don't want to move unless yah let off the gas?????...........EXCELLENT SITE GENTLEMEN, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND KEEP THE GRAND PRIX #1!!!!!!!!!
Where did you relocate the computer to? I was going to do a custom CAI in my '99 GT but abandoned the thought after realizing the computer is housed in the airbox....
For the top and bottom pieces, are the angles the same for top and bottom against the fender?
Also, what is the angle on the bottom piece that is 3 5/8"?
any considerations for washing engine bay? i know that water is really bad for these, and i guess i am just wondering if the box is enough protection...
Great write up dude. I plan to use your dimensions to make this box fairly soon because i happen to have a cone and some lexan sitting in my basement...I was also interested in how you chose to affix the PCM though. I plan to incorporate tie wraps some how... haha
what do you mean water is really bad for these? the K&N filters are washable! As long as you dont soak the filter while youre running the motor, theyre fine wet.
how much hp does this add if anyy
Were did you mount the ECM.
