What makes you think it's a meteorite? Yes, you could get a decent coin for it if you find an interested party, but Im just curious why you think this.

some guy who was really into area 51 crap gave it to my dad 15 years ago and ive had it ever since. although it doesn't respond to magnets and its not heavy, its covered in regmaglypts which are basically lots of small indentations. its covered in a smooth black hard surface which looks like fusion crust. it also has a bunch of orange dots covering it which may be rust or mineral mud. plus it isnt porous like volcanic rock

I think it's a good idea to find a university with a geology department that could examine it for you... but dont go in there saying Oh I think it's a meteorite!

Just tell em you're not sure what it is, and it looks strange and ask them to examine it.

But watch your back, with any luck the professor will start out friendly, examine it, then mumble to himself... "I havnt seen anything like this since..." then get angry and tell you to get out and never come back, and to get rid of the rock as soon as possible, and then you'll have secret service and CIA agents trying to kidnap and kill you because the secret CANT GET OUT. Then Dwayne Johnson will contact you and offer to help you get the object to "someone that can help".

but that's just a guess anyways.

If it doesn't contain iron or nickel then it's probably not a metiorite, mostly iron.

    Not sure if bot...
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

I meant Brandty. Keep those hopes and dreams intact. You'll need them here.
