If it was that body style Stratus it either had a 2.0 I4, 2.4 I4, or the 2.5 V6. They range from 130 hp to 160 hp. They are about 17 second cars.

I had a breeze with a 2.0L it was dangerously slow. I'll be it'd be like a 20 sec 1/4 or more.
I could tell it wasn't that quick of a car cause I was pulling on him when I didn't even have the GP to the floor.
So going from 15-20ish over the limit then going to 25-30ish in an effort to catch back up to me when I start to pull away doesn't count as wanting to race? Glancing over at me when side by side at a 75MPH roll then taking off doesn't count as racing? Flying past me at 80-85ish when I let off the gas doesn't count as racing?
May just be my noobish skills at racing but I'd say those things count as racing, or at least wanting to race.
and the trac button was for dramatic effect lol
I had an 04 stratus SE. The engine blew at 48k miles. I was under warranty until 50k luckily. Bad news is the Damn trans blew at 54k...
I would never buy another dodge.
Anyway good kill. His car won't be around much longer
Well, sorry to disappoint, but I saw him again today.
Same road, different place (heading the other direction) but I saw a car fly past the truck that was a bit behind me and when it finally got closer I recognized it to be the same silly Stratus.
I was kinda disappointed though cause he never did attempt to pass me this time, he's awful good at riding bumpers (something that I f*cking haaaaate) but he never tried to pass me. We were getting close to being in town though so it was semi-understandable for him not to cause he woulda had to slow down real quick anyways.
Doesn't disappoint me none. Just give it a while. It won't be long. Every stratus engine is a POS. I put twice the miles on my l67. Sad part is, I bought the car with 3x the miles my stratus blew up at.
The oil passages arn't good enough causing the engin to run hotter which causes high carbon/sludge deposits. sludge goes down and plugs up the hydralic belt tentioner, throws timing, pistions meet valves... engin dies... 2.7 is a crap design. when cars are blowing up at 30k something is seriously wronge,,,
