My front bumper looks like crap. I was planning on redoing it following the steps on a thread in this section somewhere. I was wanting to put on a front license plate cover on after the new paintjob/fixing. Then I thought, what if I mold the plate cover onto the bumper and make it all flush and smooth.

Has anyone done this before? Any pictures?

    Good or bad idea?

He used structural epoxy. It holds better then bondo and is flexible. He also had bondo over top of it to smooth it out.

Cool, Thanks for the info. I will take before and after pictures when I am done. Hopefully it'll all work out smoothly.

So I take it Alaska doesn't require a front plate? Dang, I need to move there, lol.. I ran one here for about 6 months before I got pulled for it. No ticket, just a warning. Small town, bored cops, hilarity ensues.

Alaska does require a front plate, btw.. And they do enforce it.

    ... and tinted windows..

    .. and tinted tails..

Too many cops, not enough going on, they enforce all the petty stuff.

I had my tinted tails on for 1 year in Alaska, pulled over 8-10 times for them, I've been in the lower 48 about 10 months now, 0 times pulled over.
